Do you know who is in your Soul Tribe?

I am grateful to have many great friends and acquaintances from over the years. My best friend and I met when we were 5 years old. From that point until now, my friend base is diverse, fun, and supportive.

At some point within the last five years, I started to reassess some things and took a closer look at how and WHO I spent my time with. In the midst of taking a Spirituality class, I realized that I had a Soul Tribe. These are people who resonate with you on a different level. It is cosmic. Sometimes the things that happen between two people are unexplainable. You are just connected on a higher, spiritual level.

And I have the receipts...

My husband and I could be busy and not spoken all day. I don't want to cook dinner. I have something very specific in mind to grab at a restaurant. He has called and asked me if I wanted the same damn thing I was thinking about! We live in Chicago. There are a boat load of options in the city, the surrounding suburbs, or nearby Indiana. The options are limitless on carryout and sit-down eateries. Plus, how easy is it to read a woman's mind? I know for sure he's a Soul Mate.

I ran out of the office during lunch break to run errands. As I am walking out of a hardware store, I smell BBQ chicken wings (another food example, I must be hungry). I look around for a Buffalo Wild Wings. Nothing. Wingstop? Nothing. I'm thinking there is absolutely nothing in this area that has wings. I call my girlfriend. It goes straight to voicemail. She calls me back. She's at BUFFALO WILD WINGS! Which by the way, is the same place we hit it off during an out of town business trip. I know for sure she's a Soul Mate.

I pick up the phone to call my girlfriend to discuss some "juice" that happened earlier that day. She sees my number at the same time she is about to press the send button on a text to me. SOUL MATE!

These all seem like pretty small trivial things, But, for me, these are reminders of my strongest connections. These are my soul mates who collectively makes up my SOUL TRIBE. YES...YOU CAN HAVE MULTIPLE SOUL MATES of both genders. These people are beings who you have felt like you have met them before in a different lifetime (which you have). There is an instant familiarity with the person upon meeting them. They might show up in your dreams. They know when to call you. They know when to tell you that you're wrong. They know when to sit silent and listen. They know when to step in to help you out.

Take inventory of those people! Make sure you regularly say a prayer for them and send them good energy. Life changes and shifts quickly. When you are thinking of them, reach out because they might be thinking of you too! They can and will help you get through anything life throws your way.
